Through our television show and digital platforms, we share these stories with audiences across Hawaiʻi and beyond. We also connect people who want to make a difference with local nonprofits doing meaningful work in our communities.

Here in Hawaiʻi is produced by Nolan & Jamie Hong, the husband and wife behind Pop Creative Media, a video production company that has been producing content for local nonprofits, businesses and families since 2014.

Nolan’s strength is creating the kind of conversation where people feel comfortable being themselves. He takes the time to understand the person behind the story rather than trying to force an interview into a predetermined narrative.
That approach has led guests to open up about things they don’t normally talk about, and to trust Nolan to share those stories with care and authenticity.

Director & Editor
With more than 20 years in video production, Jamie shapes each story with the same care that begins in the interview. She looks for the heart of what someone is trying to share without losing the details and context that make their experience their own.
Together, Nolan and Jamie are committed to telling people’s stories in a way that feels true to the person who lived them—and that honors the trust they place in the production team.
