Family Hui Hawaii
Family Hui Hawaiʻi brings parents and caregivers together to build community, learn about child development, and navigate the early years of parenting. Its programs support families from pregnancy through age 5 through peer groups, workshops, playdates, and resource connections.
Family Hui Hawaiʻi creates communities of support for parents and caregivers, particularly during the early years of raising a child. Its signature Hui groups bring families together for intentional play, conversation, and parenting support from pregnancy through age 5. The organization also offers parenting workshops, family events, playdates, developmental tools, and Family Navigation services that connect families with resources such as childcare, healthcare, SNAP/WIC, diaper assistance, and developmental support. The approach is less about handing parents a list of rules and more about helping them build knowledge, confidence, relationships, and a network they can turn to. Programs cover everything from child development and learning through play to nutrition, safety, mindful parenting, and navigating stressful moments.

But an overview doesn’t show the depth of what they do. There are so many stories to tell — the people they serve, the programs they make possible, the volunteers who show up, and the impact happening every day.
