Woman with ukulele smiling with text, Journey with autism and imposter syndrome

Ukulele Artist Brittni Paiva

Brittni won her first Nā Hōkū Hanohano at age 15. Since then her career in music has been filled with multiple awards, millions of downloads, and performances with music legends, but her life has also been filled with challenges. Last year, she found out that she’s on the autism spectrum, which helped explain her sensory sensitivity. She’s also been dealing with imposter syndrome even though she had over 20 years of proof that she was a gifted musician. We also had some fun as well, having her play one of her least favorite songs that she’s had to arrange for ukulele at the request of a student (not shockingly it was AMAZING).
