First, we head to The Equus, the last family-owned and operated boutique hotel in Waikiki. We meet the second-generation owner and his son, who are continuing the family legacy — not just in hospitality, but also through their other venture: Hawaiʻi Polo Club on the North Shore 🐎. It’s a story of heritage, horses, and holding on to what matters most.
Then we visit Family Promise, a nonprofit working to support families facing housing instability and houselessness. Unlike traditional shelters, they focus on keeping families together — offering housing, resources, and hope to those who need it most 💛🏠
